TIRANA (Albania), November 14 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said on Wednesday it purchased a total of 76,500 MWh of electricity worth 7.1 million euro ($7.9 million), to be delivered in two lots from November 16 until November 30.
The auction started on November 12 and was concluded after five rounds of negotiations on November 14, the OSHEE said in a statement.
A total of nine domestic and foreign power suppliers participated in the auction, of which OSHEE selected six to proceed further: Energy to Energy AL, n4t-group, Devoll Hydropower, GEN – I Tirana, EFT AG and NOA.
The average price achieved in the auction was 92.25 euro/MWh for the second lot (7:00 – 23:00 hours).
