TIRANA (Albania), October 9 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said it has purchased a total of 18,000 MWh of electricity worth 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million), to be delivered in one lot from October 11 until October 20.
The average price achieved in the auction was 75.57 euro/MWh.
The auction started on October 7 and was concluded after three rounds of negotiations on October 8, OSHEE said in a statement on Tuesday.
Twelve domestic and foreign power suppliers participated in the auction. OSHEE selected six of them: NOA, EFT, Albanian Energy Supplier, Devoll Hydropower, ReNRGY Trading Group and Ayen Energy Trading.
