TIRANA (Albania), October 4 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said it purchased a total of 112,000 MWh of electricity worth 9.3 million euro ($10.7 million), to be delivered in two lots from October 7 to October 20.
The auction started on October 2 and was concluded after four rounds of negotiations on October 4, the OSHEE said in its final report on the offers published on Friday.
A total of 10 domestic and foreign power suppliers participated in the auction, of which OSHEE selected six to proceed further: AXPO DOO Beograd, n4t-group, GSA, GEN – I Tirana, Grid Energy and Devoll Hydropower.
The average price achieved in the auction was 77.45 euro/MWh for the first lot (0:00 – 24:00 hours) and 91.99 euro/MWh for the second lot (7:00 – 23:00 hours).
