TIRANA (Albania), July 26 (SeeNews) – Albanian electricity producer KESH booked an unaudited net profit of 6.2 billion leks ($57.2 million/48.9 million euro) in the first half of 2018, it said.
The company recorded 10.9 billion leks in operating revenue and 1.4 billion leks of operating expenses, KESH said in its half-year consolidated financial statement published earlier this week.
The company provided no comparative figures on its financial performance in the first six months of 2017.
KESH generated 3,881 GWh of electricity in the January-June period of 2018.
The company's revenue from electricity exports totalled 57.1 million euro in the first half of the year. No imports were registered in the review period.
KESH ended 2017 with an audited net loss of 52.7 million leks.
