June 1 (SeeNews) - Albania’s energy corporation KESH opened an 837 million leks ($8.2 million/7.7 million euro) tender for the design, construction and maintenance of an 8.25 MW solar array at the Zadeja dam at the Vau i Dejes hydro power plant near the northeastern city of Shkodra, it said on Thursday.
The design, permitting, installation and commissioning must be completed within 16.5 months, while the maintenance period will have a two-year span, KESH said in a tender notice.
Bids can be submitted by July 3.
KESH is Albania's largest energy producer. It manages three hydropower plants at the Drin Cascade in the country's north, including Vau i Dejes, and a thermal power plant in the southern city of Vlora, with a total of 1450 MW of installed capacity, according to the tender document.
