TIRANA (Albania), April 6 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power corporation KESH said on Friday it is inviting bids for exports of up to 43,900 MWh of electricity for April 9-15 delivery.
The bidding deadline is April 6 and the preferred criteria will be the highest price offered, KESH said in a request for proposals.
The electricity will be offered for delivery in eight lots from Monday through Sunday, KESH added.
Albania produces 98% of its electricity at hydro power plants, most of it from three power plants along the Drin River, in the northern part of the country.
