TIRANA (Albania), September 3 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power corporation KESH said on Monday it is inviting bids for companies specialised in providing security services for the assets under its administration.
The bidding deadline is September 27 and the maximum budget available for the implementation of the project is estimated at 127 million leks ($1.16 million/ 1 million euro), KESH said in a tender notice published by the country’s public procurement agency.
The assignment will be financed by KESH under a twelve-month contract, the statement added.
KESH is active in power generation and supply. It supplies almost 70% of Albania's electricity demand through own generation.
Albania produces 98% of its electricity at hydro power plants, mostly three power plants along the Drin River in the northern part of the country.
