TIRANA (Albania), May 17 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power corporation KESH said on Thursday it is inviting bids for exports of up to 19,950 MWh of electricity for May 20-25 delivery in two lots.
The bidding deadline is May 17 and the price will be the most important criterion in the ranking of the bids, KESH said in a request for proposals.
The electricity will be offered for delivery from Sunday to Friday.
Albania produces 98% of its electricity at hydro power plants, most of it from three power plants along the Drin River, in the northern part of the country.
