June 9 (SeeNews) - Albania’s GPG Company was awarded following a tender a $5.8 million (5.4 million euro) contract by the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) for a project envisaging the rehabilitation of a road linking touristic spots in the Adriatic coastal village of Spille and a ring road in the western city of Lushnja, the fund said.
Of the seven bidders, GPG Company presented the lowest bid, a contract notice published on ADF’s website on Wednesday shows.
The construction works should be concluded within a nine-month period.
Lushnja-based GPG Company focuses on the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, railways, airports, water pipes, sewers, electric lines, road signs, according to its website.
