October 31 (SeeNews) - Albanian company Gjoka Konstruksion has won a concession contract to build the remaining part of the highway linking the capital Tirana to the underveloped Dibra region and neighboring Macedonia, the ministry of energy and infrastructure said on Tuesday.
Three candidates submitted offers in the government tender for awarding the concession contract that opened in early October - Adem Pojani, Alb-Star and Gjoka Konstruksion, the ministry said in a statement.
Gjoka Konstruksion has proposed to complete the construction of the remaining 40 km of the 61.7 km-long highway for 33.6 billion leks (248 million euro/ $289 million) in about four years, according to local media reports.
