June 1 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator increased by 3.9 percentage points (pp) to 118.6 in May, after improving by 1.1 pp in the previous month, the central bank said on Thursday.
The improved confidence in industry, construction, service and trade sectors contributed to the upward trend of the economic sentiment indicator, the Bank of Albania said in a quarterly business and consumer confidence survey.
The industry confidence indicator rose by 2.6 pp in May, 19 pp above its historical average.
The construction confidence indicator increased by 5.3 pp, standing 34.5 pp above its historical average.
The services confidence indicator increased by 11 pp in May, standing above its historical average by 29 pp.
The trade confidence indicator edged up by 1.6 pp. The indicator stayed 14 pp above its historic average.
The consumer confidence indicator edged down by 0.6 pp.
