July 7 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator increased by 2 percentage points (pp) to 109.8 in June, the central bank said on Thursday.
The economic confidence indicator in June was influenced by the rise of confidence in the industry, construction and services sectors, Bank of Albania said in a monthly survey.
The industry confidence indicator rose 8.1 pp in June compared with May, while the construction confidence indicator advanced 7.3 pp.
The services confidence indicator gained 1.2 pp in the month under review.
The trade confidence indicator went down 0.8 pp month-on-month in June, whereas the consumer confidence indicator edged down 0.7 pp.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
