August 8 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator dropped by 2.5 percentage points (pp) to 106.9 in July, the central bank said on Monday.
The economic confidence indicator in July was influenced by the decrease of confidence in nearly all sectors, Bank of Albania said in a monthly survey.
The industry confidence indicator fell 3.2 pp in July compared with June, while the construction confidence indicator decreased 1.9 pp.
The service confidence indicator went down 6.1 pp in the month under review.
The trade confidence indicator edged down 0.5 pp month-on-month in July, whereas the consumer confidence indicator remained unchanged compared with the previous month.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
