May 9 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator declined by 1 percentage point (pp) to 102.2 in April, the central bank said on Monday.
The economic confidence indicator in April was influenced by the fall of confidence in the industry, services and trade sectors, Bank of Albania said in a monthly survey.
The industry confidence indicator fell 1.4 pp in April compared with March, while the services confidence indicator lost 2.9 pp.
The trade confidence indicator went down 2.9 pp month-on-month in April.
The consumer confidence indicator rose 1.7 pp, whereas the construction confidence indicator edged up 1.8 pp in April, compared with the previous month.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
