May 5 (SeeNews) - The number of coronavirus cases in Albania has increased to 820, local media reported on Tuesday.
Some 70% of the total confirmed cases have recovered, Albanian Daily News reported, citing Albana Fico, public health institute director.
Albania's parliament adopted last month a plan for gradual restarting of the economy and easing of movement restrictions.
As of May 4, taxi intercity services are allowed to operate, however transporting only two members of a family. Beauty shops, barbershops, dental clinics and retail shops within shopping malls will reopen on May 11, the prime minister's office said last week. Under the plan, the government will consider partially opening bars and restaurants as of May 18.
