March 30 (SeeNews) - Albania posted a budget surplus of 9.4 billion leks ($74.5 million/69.3 million euro) in the first two months of the year, compared to a surplus of 10.2 billion leks a year earlier, according to data released by the finance ministry.
Total budget revenue added 3.7% to 64 billion leks in January-February, whereas total expenditure declined 6% to 54.6 billion leks.
Albania recorded a budget deficit of 26.2 billion leks last year, lower than the planned 35.7 billion leks shortfall.
