June 5 (SeeNews) - Albania's annual producer price inflation accelerated to 5.1% in the first quarter of the year from 0.9% in the last quarter of 2016, data from Albania's statistics office, INSTAT, showed on Monday.
On a quarterly basis, Albania posted a producer price inflation of 1.8% in the January-March period.
On the domestic market, producer prices added 2.8% year-on-year and 2.3% quarter-on-quarter in the first three months of the year.
For products sold on foreign markets, Albania's producer prices in the first quarter jumped 10.6% on the year and increased 3.2% on the quarter.
