June 5 (SeeNews) - A consortium of Albania-based 6D Plan and EBS was awarded a 440,000 euro ($470,500) contract to conduct a feasibility study and an economic and social impact assessment (ESIA) of a project for construction of a new dam and a water purification plant in Kosovo, Kosovo's environment ministry said on Monday.
The project will be implemented in the village of Dragacina, near the town of Suhareka in southern Kosovo, the ministry said in a press release.
The Albanian consortium has 10 months from the signing of the contract to complete the assignment.
6D-Plan specializes in the design and supervision of civil-industrial-tourist buildings, including masonry and reinforced concrete structures over 5 floors, metal frame buildings, as well as the design of various types of roads, and hydraulic works, according to the Albanian business register. EBS is an engineering consultant specialized in water infrastructure and hydro power plants, according to the company’s website.
