TIRANA (Albania), July 26 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power transmission system operator OST increased its net profit of 636.5 million leks ($5.8 million/5.2 million euro) in the first quarter of 2019, from 433.8 million leks in the like period last year, it said.
The company's operating profit increased to 895.2 million leks, from 662.3 million leks in in January-March 2018, OST said in an annual financial statement.
Revenue from transmission services fell to 1.6 billion leks from 1.8 billion leks.
The company's total assets increased to 72.0 billion leks at the end of March, from 65.2 billion leks a year earlier.
OST’s total equity grew to 31.8 billion leks from 30.8 billion leks.
In 2018, OST recorded a net profit of 906.4 million leks, down from 1.4 billion leks in 2017
