TIRANA (Albania), February 10 (SeeNews) – The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of Albania's banking system fell to 8.4% at the end of December, from 9.5% a month earlier, official figures showed on Monday.
The NPL ratio at the end of December was lower on an annual comparison basis as well, according to figures published by Bank of Albania. The country's banking system had a NPL ratio of 11.1% in December 2018.
The data refers to the loan portfolios of 12 banks operating in Albania.
