TIRANA (Albania), November 8 (SeeNews) – The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of Albania's banking system fell to 10.6% at the end of September, from 11.0% a month earlier, official figures showed on Friday.
The NPL ratio at the end of September was lower on an annual comparison basis as well, according to figures published by Bank of Albania. The country's banking system had a NPL ratio of 12.9% in September last year.
The data refers to the loan portfolios of 13 banks operating in Albania.
