TIRANA (Albania), December 10 (SeeNews) – The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of Albania's banking system fell to 10.2% at the end of October, from 10.6% a month earlier, official figures showed on Tuesday.
The NPL ratio at the end of October was lower on an annual comparison basis as well, according to figures published by Bank of Albania. The country's banking system had a NPL ratio of 13.0% in October last year.
The data refers to the loan portfolios of 12 banks operating in Albania.
