TIRANA (Albania), May 15 (SeeNews) – The construction of a new road section linking the Levan-Gjirokastra highway with the region of Delvina and the coastal city of Saranda, in southern Albania, will start within two or three months, infrastructure minister Damian Gjiknuri has said.
Kardhiq-Delvina road section worth 90 million euro ($107.4 million) will provide faster connection and great economic behefits to the southern coastal region, Gjiknuri said in a press release on Monday.
The infrastructure minister also said the implementation of a project for an upgrade of Delvina water supply network worth two million euro will start later in 2018.
The two projects will be financed from the state budget.
