TIRANA (Albania), March 28 (SeeNews) – Albania's finance ministry will offer a total of 10 billion leks ($89.4 million/79.4 million euro) worth of six-month and one-year Treasury bills at an auction on April 2, it said.
Investors will be offered 1 billion leks of six-month T-bills, the finance ministry said in its second-quarter debt issuance calendar.
At the last auction of six-month government securities held in February, investors bought 2 billion leks worth of T-bills, in line with target. The average yield fell to 1.07%, from 1.34% at the last auction held in October.
The finance ministry will also offer 9 billion leks of one-year T-bills on April 2.
The finance ministry raised 9 billion leks at the last auction of one-year government securities held on March 19. The average weighted yield edged down to 1.12% from 1.16% at the previous auction of one-year Treasury bills held on March 5.
