TIRANA (Albania), November 18 (SeeNews) – The Albanian finance ministry plans to open a tender for consultancy services in the farming sector with an indicative budget of 1.3 million euro ($1.6 million), a notice published in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.
The contract will focus toward improving and strengthening the capacity and role of the extension service to inform and disseminate the best agricultural practices and knowledge to the farming sector making it become more competitive and comply with EU standards, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) wrote.
A contract notice for the tender is scheduled to be published in January 2015.
