TIRANA (Albania), February 5 (SeeNews) – The Albanian finance ministry plans to open a tender for consultancy services in education with a maximum budget of 1.0 million euro ($1.1 million), a notice published in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Thursday.
The contract will focus on improving the vocational education and training (VET) system through the strengthening of the VET provider network and key national and regional institutions by the development of improved teaching methodologies, curricula and training programmes; and increasing the access to VET providers by women, young people and vulnerable groups by the development of new curricula addressed to these groups, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
A contract notice for the tender is scheduled to be published in April 2015.
The tasks implementation period is 24 months.
