July 29 (SeeNews) - Albania will auction a total of 9.5 billion leks ($76.6 million/68.6 milion euro) in six-month and one-year Treasury bills on August 9, data from the country's central bank showed.
The bank will offer 3.9 billion leks in six-month papers and 5.6 billion leks in 1-year papers, the data indicated.
At the latest auction of 6-month T-bills, held on July 4, the bank offered 7.5 billion leks, but due to insufficient demand sold only 6.63 billion leks of them at a yield of 0.94%, marginally down from 0.95% previously.
At the latest auction of 1-year T-notes, held on July 26, the bank sold 7.1 billion leks worth of securities, as demand exceeded supply. Yield ticked down to 1.28% from 1.30% previously.
