January 5 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 9.5 billion leks ($89.6 million/79.1 million euro) worth of Treasury bills at two auctions held on Wednesday, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 8.5 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on January 5, 2023, the data shows. Some 1.45 billion leks worth of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
The ministry also sold 1 billion leks worth of three-month Treasury bills with a maturity date of April 7, 2022. Some 247.42 million leks worth of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
