July 27 (SeeNews) - Hekurudha Shqiptare, Albania's state-owned railway operator, announced the opening of a tender for a feasibility study for a project for the construction of a railway connecting the Adriatic port city of Durres to Kosovo’s capital Pristina.
The project, with an estimated value of 200 million leks ($2.1 million /2 milliion euro), envisages the execution of a feasibility study within a timeframe of 14 months, Hekurudha Shqiptare said in tender documents published on the website of Albania's public procurement agency on Wednesday.
The potential bidders are required to have previous experience in railway studies and at least one related to studies and design of railway for freight and passenger traffic.
Bids can be submitted by August 28, 2023.
