TIRANA (Albania), March 18 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) said it is seeking a consultant to provide supervision services for civil engineering works in three road project funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The bidding deadline is May 14, as the assignment is expected to start in June and has an estimated overall duration of 12 months and a further 24 months of defects notification period, ADF said in a tender notice last week.
The selected consultant is expected to provide supervision services for the rehabilitation of Vlore - Orikum road, construction of Shengjin – Baks – Rrjoll road and upgrade of Zgosht-Ura e Cerenecit road section.
The assignment is part of a project for upgrade works on local and regional roads in Albania and is financed with the proceeds of a $50 million (45.2 million euro) loan from the EBRD.
The ADF is a public agency whose mission is to encourage a sustainable, balanced and cohesive socio-economic development at local and regional level. The ADF was established at the beginning of 1993, based on an agreement between the Albanian government and the World Bank.
