TIRANA (Albania), December 14 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) said on Friday it is seeking a consultant to provide supervision services for the implementation of a World Bank-funded project for improving regional and local roads connectivity in Albania.
The expressions of interest must be delivered in writing by January 7, 2019, ADF said in a notice.
The World Bank is providing a $50 million (44 million euro) loan for the implementation of the project for the reconstruction of around 45 km of regional and local roads in Albania.
“The project supports improved access to several agricultural and tourism centers in Albania,” the World Bank said in April.
The ADF is a public agency whose mission is to encourage a sustainable, balanced and cohesive socio-economic development at local and regional level. The ADF was established at the beginning of 1993, based on an agreement between the Albanian government and the World Bank.
