TIRANA (Albania), March 11 (SeeNews) – Albania's health ministry has confirmed two new cases of the coronavirus infection on Wednesday which takes the total number registered in the country to 12, local media reported.
To date, the ministry has conducted 156 tests for suspected cases of coronavirus, ATA news agency quoted deputy health minister Mira Rakacolli as saying during a press conference.
The first coronavirus case in Albania was confirmed on March 9.
On Tuesday, Albania’s government decided to suspend all flights and passenger ferry services to Italy in an attempt to curb the spread of the disease.
