TIRANA (Albania), February 19 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) said on Tuesday it is inviting applications from small and medium enterprises for financing for the total amount of 35 million leks ($316,307/279,561 euro) in support of start-ups, innovation and handicraft projects in 2019.
The deadline for submitting applications for financing from the three funding schemes managed by AIDA is November 1, the agency said in a statement.
The fund for support of start-up enterprises in the amount of 30 million leks for the 2018-2020 period focuses on newly established micro- and small-sized enterprises looking for new markets.
The innovation support fund has a total value of 45 million leks for the 2018-2020 period. It aims at improving technology and fostering innovation.
The creative economy fund worth 30 million leks for 2017-2019 period aims to foster the development of handicrafts in Albania by creating a favourable environment and boosting employment.
The funding under each of the three-year schemes is evenly split during their duration.
