TIRANA (Albania), August 3 (SeeNews) – Albania's road authority ARRSH said on Friday it opened a tender for construction of Lot 4 of Kardhiq-Delvina road linking the Levan-Gjirokastra highway with the region of Delvina and the coastal city of Saranda, in southern Albania.
The bidding deadline is September 3 and the maximum budget available for the implementation of the project is 2.4 billion leks ($22 million/18.9 million euro), ARRSH said in tender notice.
The works must be completed within 24 months after the signing of a contract.
On Thursday, ARRSH opened two separate tenders for construction of Lot 5 and Lot 6 of the same road project with maximum budget available estimated at 1.8 billion leks and 2.4 billion leks, respectively.
In May, infrastructure minister Damian Gjiknuri said the construction of Kardhiq-Delvina road section is expected to cost 90 million euro.
