March 3 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia transported 200,743 passengers in February, up 150% year-on-year, it said on Friday.
The figure was 30.5% higher than in February 2020, shortly before the coronavirus pandemic broke out, the company said in a LinkedIn post.
Air Serbia operated 2,410 flights in February, an increase of 103.3% year over year, and the average load factor topped 70%, it added.
"February was the eighth month in a row which broke the record in terms of passengers carried," Masa Vesovic, head of revenue management at Air Serbia, commented in the LinkedIn post.
"We have been recording historic results since July 2022, and judging by the February, the growth trend continues. The addition of new destinations to our network will further drive interest in spring," Vesovic added.
