August 7 (SeeNews) - Air Serbia said on Friday that it has signed a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines to launch codeshare flights linking Belgrade to Istanbul.
Through the enhanced partnership, Turkish Airlines and Air Serbia will be able to reciprocally put their own flight codes on each other’s Istanbul-Belgrade flights as of August 15, the Serbian flag carrier said in a statement.
Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will also codeshare on Air Serbia’s flights from Belgrade to Banja Luka and Tivat, while Air Serbia will place its codes onto Turkish Airlines’ services from Istanbul to Ankara, Kayseri, Izmir, Konya, Adana, Trabzon, Antalya, Gazipasa, Dalaman, Bodrum and Gaziantep.

We are sure that this exciting and strategically very important partnership will improve the economic relations of our countries," said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy Air Serbia.
Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 361 passenger and cargo aircraft flying to 319 destinations in 127 countries.
