May 31 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia plans to launch seasonal flights linking Kraljevo to Greece's Thessaloniki on July 13, it said.
The flights will be operated once a week, on Tuesdays, until August 24, Air Serbia said in a statement on Friday.
The company also intends to introduce flights from the Konstantin Veliki airport in Nis to Montenegro's Tivat that will be operated twice a week between June 15 and August 24, it said.
"We are happy that the gradual expansion of our network in current circumstances also includes other airports in the country, in addition to our base airport in Belgrade, so we can make it easier for as many passengers as possible to go on a well-deserved vacation", said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
Air Serbia planned to launch Kraljevo-Thessaloniki flights last year, but its plans were suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
