January 23 (SeeNews) - Serbia's national carrier Air Serbia will launch in June direct flights from Belgrade to seven new destinations, including Croatia's coastal cities of Rijeka and Zadar, the company said on Wednesday.
Year-round flights will be introduced, including to Kiev, Madrid, Barcelona, Rijeka, Krasnodar, Helsinki and Cairo, Air Serbia said in a statement.
Flights to Nice and Zadar will operate seasonally, and the frequency of existing flights to Zurich, Paris and Dubrovnik will be increased, it added.
Serbia's flag carrier renewed its connection with Zagreb in December 2014, followed by a 23-year break.
Air Serbia currently flies to over 50 destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
