September 17 (SeeNews) - Serbian flag carrier JAT Airways, currently being rebranded to Air Serbia, said that it plans to add flights from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi, Banja Luka, Ljubljana and Prague.
Flights on the Ljubljana-Belgrade route will start on December 10 while those on the routes to Banja Luka and Prague will be operational as of December 1, Jat Airways said in a statement on Monday.
Flights from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi will start on October 27.
In August, Etihad signed a strategic partnership deal with state-owned JAT Airways under which $200 million (149.8 million euro) will be spent to revitalise and rebrand the ailing carrier. Etihad was also awarded a five-year management contract.
On Tuesday, the operator of Bucharest's main airport Henri Coanda said Jat Airways will fly daily between Belgrade and Bucharest starting in December.
