January 18 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia entered into a codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways to provide a wider selection of destinations to passengers, the Serbian company said on Wednesday.
Air Serbia will add its codes on Qatar Airways flights from Belgrade to Doha, as well as destinations including Adelaide, Baku, Brisbane, Tbilisi, HoChiMinh City, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Muscat, Nairobi, Perth, Seychelles, Singapore, and Sydney, the Serbian flag carrier said in a LinkedIn post.
Subject to obtaining government approval, Air Serbia plans to expand its network to Bangkok, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Phuket, Seoul, Tokyo, Yerevan and Zanzibar.
"Through this cooperation, we believe that we will be able to jointly bring to Serbia more traffic and opportunities for trade and tourism, and to increase traffic between the two hubs,” Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek said.
