June 30 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia has resumed the operation of flights from Morava airport in Kraljevo with the service linking the Serbian town to Austria's capital Vienna, it said on Tuesday.
At the same time, Air Serbia continues with the reintroduction of operations from Nis airport with the first flight to Salzburg on July 1 and to Hanover on July 2, the flag carrier said in a statement.
"We are delighted to gradually restart more and more flights and expand our offer on all airports from which we operate flights in Serbia. Flights from Nis and Kraljevo are very important because a large number of residents of South Serbia, West Serbia and Sumadija gravitate towards these cities," Air Serbia CEO Duncan Naysmith said.
Air Serbia started operations at Kraljevo airport on December 17, with routes to Vienna.
The flag carrier suspended commercial flights on March 20 due to the coronavirus-related restrictions adopted by the Serbian government. The company resumed commercial operations on May 21.
