June 5 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia carried 335,363 passengers in May, up 83% year-on-year, it said.
Passenger numbers in May were 66% higher than in May 2019, shortly before the coronavirus pandemic broke out, the company said in a statement last week.
Air Serbia operated 3,708 flights in May, an increase of 69% year-on-year, it added.
“For eleven consecutive months, since July 2022, our company has been breaking its own records in terms of the number of passengers carried and flights operated,” Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek said.
