CHISINAU (Moldova), May 7 (SeeNews) – Flag carrier Air Moldova said on Monday it has launched a route from the country's capital Chisinau to Tel Aviv in Israel.
Air Moldova will service the route three times a week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, it said in a press release.
"The direct flight between Chisinau and Tel-Aviv is important for both Air Moldova and our passengers. It has been put on our list of flights as a result of the many requests received from our clients. The fact that almost all tickets (85% of the total number of seats) have been sold for the first flight yo Tel Aviv, confirms this," Air Moldova said.
At the end of April, Air Moldova launched a route from Chisinau to Russia's Ekaterinburg.
Air Moldova operates flights to 31 destinations with eight aircraft - one A321, two A320, two A319 and three Embraer 190.
