February 24 (SeeNews) - The average producer prices of agricultural goods in Croatia rose 22.2% on the year in 2022, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The prices of crop products were 21.7% higher last year compared to 2021, primarily driven by a 55.6% increase in the prices of cereals, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in an annual report.
Producer prices of wine rose 8.5% on the average in the period under review, prices of industrial plants increased 9.7%, and prices of fresh vegetables rose 20.9%.
The prices of livestock and animal products increased by 23.2% year-on-year in 2022.
The prices of goods and services used in agriculture increased by 40.5% last year compared to 2021.
