SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 19 (SeeNews) - A new outbreak of African swine fever was confirmed on September 18 at an industrial pig farm located in the village of Novoseltsi, in the country's northeast, according to Bulgarian Food Safety Agency data.

There were a total of 3,968 pigs at the farm, according to BFSA data.

This is the eighth reported outbreak of the disease at an industrial pig farm in Bulgaria since the beginning of July.
