December 13 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices rose, bourse data showed.
A total of 7,203 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 10.6 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla won 0.20% and closed at 701 dinars.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Wednesday, as it won 0.79% and closed at 5,100 dinars. A total of five company shares were traded, generating a turnover of 25,500 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.04% to 744.07 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index fell 0.09%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.35% on Wednesday and closed at 1,626.35 points, after increasing 0.39% on Tuesday.
Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Wednesday, as it lost 0.38% to 1,046 dinars. A total of 713 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 745,730 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 20.6 million dinars ($202,430/172,500 euro) on Wednesday from 7.3 million dinars on Tuesday, as 311 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 2.4 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds generated 179.2 million dinars of the total turnover of 199.8 million dinars on the bourse.
