January 11 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange and led the blue-chip gainers' list on Thursday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,699 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 7.9 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla won 0.60% and closed at 1,671 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.04% to 767.80 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index decreased 0.40%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.13% on Thursday and closed at 1,650.38 points, after going down 0.90% on Wednesday.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners on Thursday, as its share price fell 1.10% to 900 dinars. A total of six of the lender's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 5,400 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 14.7 million dinars ($148,672/123,770 euro) on Thursday from 14.6 million dinars on Wednesday, as 379 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 190,599 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 500.1 million dinars to the total turnover of 514.8 million dinars on the stock exchange.
