January 23 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,375 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.5 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla lost 0.39% and closed at 1,799 dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, after gaining 2.56% and closing at 923 dinars. A total of 1,668 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.5 million dinars
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, fell 0.15% to 775.16 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index increased 0.13%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.07% on Tuesday and closed at 1,649.40 points, after rising 0.14 on Monday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, as it lost 7.80% and closed at 378 dinars. A total of 100 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 37,800 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 12.8 million dinars ($132,248/107,870 euro) on Tuesday from 9.6 million dinars on Monday, as 660 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 218,227 dinars.
