July 17 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 31,580 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 53.5 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla closed up 0.36% to 1,695 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip gainers' list after winning 1.18% and closing at 688 dinars, as 2,100 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.4 million dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.29% to 734.84 points on Tuesday. The index fell 0.22% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.10% to 1,536.18 points on Tuesday, after decreasing 0.24% on Monday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade stock market, after losing 3.08% to 189 dinars. A total of 53 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 10,017 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 66.5 million dinars ($659,355/563,714 euro) on Tuesday from 13.1 million dinars on Monday, as 224 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 10.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 117.7 million dinars to the total turnover of 184.3 million dinars on the stock exchange.
