January 3 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover but paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,133 of Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.6 million dinars. The company closed down 19.68% at 1,449 dinars.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 0.70% to 2,018 dinars.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange was closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, due to public holidays.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 3.93% to 731.79 points on Thursday. The index fell 1.94% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 1.93% at 1,558.72 points on Thursday, after declining 0.66% on Friday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 8.1 million dinars ($77,682/68,440 euro) on Thursday from 43.7 million dinars on Friday, as 90 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 5.6 million dinars.
